"As the sun of this Tuesday morning arises, we get our first royal appearance of the day with His Royal Highness the Prince of Stalulv taking the salute on the occasion of the Changing of the Guard ceremony in front of Kronevarg Palace, Clicketon, Trailpin. Today, it's the Prince's Guard that will watch over the residence of the Nordulvens. Hence why our future King wears white today, as Colonel of this regiment."
This is one of many illustrations related to Lobu's canon background: the Kingdom of Trailpin. Here is a summary of it.
The Kingdom of Trailpin is a country situated in an almost exact copy of our real world. Only two differences are to be spotted: 1) the "humans" of this world are in fact anthros, and 2) this country exists where there would be water IRL. Indeed, Trailpin is located between the west of Norway (with which the country shares a land border) and Scotland (separated from it by a strait).
This country is a unity of smaller provinces. These provinces are Clicketonshire, the region of Trailpin's capital. It contains the main city of the country and its suburbs. We then have Stalulv, which is the most populated of all with 60% of the entire Trailpinian population (most of which is wolf, then husky, then arctic fox, rare snow leopards and non-canines that can easily support the cold.) Afterwards, we have Ballastia. This province is the industrial part of the kingdom, with most trains and railway rolling stock being produced there. Finally, we have Vaccinion. This is the agricultural region, from where next to all huckleberry products come from.
Economically, the country is distinguished by the agriculture of a form of huckleberries that is very specific to the region, but also at the industrial level, thanks to great expertise in terms of railway rolling stock. Their currency is the Trailpinian Lupin (TLP) and its inferior variant is the Tin. 10 Tins form 1 Lupin. Coins come in form of 1, 2, 5 Tins, 1 and 2 Lupins. Banknotes come in form of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 and 5000 Lupins.
Concerning the local culture, the country is quite hierarchized due to the lupine majority of the population. The royal family is very, very precious to the Trailpinians. Moreover, the state religion is Ulvism. Of course, there is no religious discrimination here. But Ulvism practitioners consider their Royals to be direct descendants of Ulf, the deity of the country.
Unlike in our United Kingdom, where the monarchy is only a symbol of the unity of the country, the King has power even though he shares it with an assembly. The latter holds legislative power (thus deals with laws) and the King entirely holds executive power. (There are therefore no or few ministers in cabinet).
