I can almost imagine the premise for this situation dragons are like praying mantises after mating the next morning the male shrinks down for the female to eat whole the digestion is slow lasting a week where the male for the entire time is in a euphoric Nirvana feeding the female with an abundance of nutrients and magic so the clutch will be healthy and strong I think I got a bit too into nature with that lol
