I think it came as a shock to many last night as the duo announced their retirement, it hit me harder than I could ever imagine.
It’s incredibly bittersweet, I just had to sit and listen to their songs as I painted the entire night away
These two meant a lot to me, I would constantly listen to them whenever I felt scared. their music was a huge comfort through a tough childhood and inspired me to become the artist I am today!
I will forever treasure these nerdy boiis, thankyou for being my comfort in questionable times, we will miss you dearly!

Worked small and made it big within these 28 years! I still remember years ago when I was sad...me and my family were driving and just constantly replaying the music "Crescendolls" throughout the night. Fun times!

On the one hand, to everything there is a season. If anyone's earned a proper retirement it's Daft Punk. They changed the world and brought joy to many, but in the end, they're people too. After being in the glaring kleig lights for so long, wouldn't you want to retreat to something like privacy again?

I agree with this so much! It’s a comfort to know they can finally enjoy a peaceful life away from all of the celebrity chaos, they are one for their privacy and I love that about them ❤️
