Daren Lynn, age 21, is the older sister to Rocket Grunt Karen and is known throughout Team Rocket as "The Master Thief". He's a talented individual who uses his Pokemon to escape the clutches of his pursuers. He grew up in the Johto region with his little sister and took care of her after their mother died. Moving to Kanto, he encountered Team Rocket by chance and thought it would be fun to steal from them. He got caught however and was beaten within an inch of his life. He was only spared because one of the Rockets thought he would be useful and gave him the choice to join. Seeing an a chance for him and his sister to live in a "secure" environment, feared by others instead of being in fear. Over time he became more skilled and his thievery grew into legend. However, he was a thief of the people, liberating abused Pokemon and stealing from the greedy to give to the poor; a sort of "Robin Hood of the Pokemon world".
