Not gonna lie, those YA novels made being 16 look way more fun and easy than it actually was. A lot more suicidal thoughts, dealing with an alcoholic parent and a psychotic controlling family member than any book could prepare me for
But I still remember most of the TSoTP plot points fairly easily and think it's like a solid series, esp. in how handles the teen sexuality end of things, I'd still say the series is good!
