Just a bit of hand waving to make the narrative feasible. It'd be a bit hard to explore the day to day impacts if they ended up in a lab or in hiding.

Well, it may be a costume come to life... yet there are things he'll have to consider. in your medication one, drugs like anti-depressants not only change effectiveness due to weight. but affect male and female patients differently. different brain chemistry, go fig.
