I felt like doing a photoshop painting that looked more painting-like. I snatched this concept from native american folklore, that the world was created on the back of a giant turtle. This started out as a sea-turtle, but then wings sprung up instead, so i went with it.. das how it goes. The background resulted from listening to classical music tracks from soundtrack album of "Master & Commander: The Far Side Of The World".

In Italian, "Adagio" means "slowly" (or "at ease" says Wiki), it was one of the songs I was listening to, and seems to fit the painting nicely. Besides, I couldn't think of a better title.
