As you know, all of us Zoo Scouts have bellybuttons. To many first-time viewers, it comes as a surprise. But that's the reason I draw them so much. It's so unexpected yet so appealing to the eye. For egg-layers like platypuses, it's an even bigger surprise. As for https://www.furaffinity.net/user/thefoxprince11/ , he loves navels a lot. So he wonders how Bill could have a tummy hole, or, for that matter, a big, fat, round belly. He explains that his bellybutton came around since his hatch-day, and he got his big gut from all those donut breaks. Still, it adds to his cuddly appearance and demeanor. I was inspired to make this image inspired by a book cover that was about, (you guessed it,) bellybuttons.
