me and my friend
dilong wanting to do a swimming with Dolphins event. it was really awsome, but aparently the show was not over yet.
every wondered why Dolphins are so clever?
soon Dilong and I found ourself transforming into dolphins. I am not complaining though.
they were definetly not lying about a Unimaginable experience.
"That was awesome!" said Falkie, turning towards his friend as they entered the locker room.
"Oh yes!" his friend replied, closing the door behind them. "It was so much fun to get close and to interact with them. They are so clever!"
"And so joyful!" added Falkie. "Heck, I'd love to be a dolphin!"
The room was quiet and empty, contrasting with the animation of the park outside. They had spent the afternoon together watching the animals in the Sea World marine park . They were now getting ready for the main show that drew them to this place: a chance to swim with dolphins!
"I'm so excited!" his friend said. "I heard that they have some rare black nosed dolphins. I would love to see one up close!"
Falkie nodded and grabbed his towel. He looked at his friend and they exchanged smiles, before turning their heads away from each other, giving themselves some mutual privacy as they were about to change into their swimsuits.
He had met his friend Dilong recently. The two had immediately gotten along very well and it felt as if they had been lifelong friends. One of their shared interests was animals and dolphins, and Falkie arranged a visit here, as it would be a good occasion to bond and to have fun. He did not regret it, as the day went perfectly well and was everything he hoped for.
Falkie removed trademark leather jacket, when he suddenly felt a sharp pain ringing through his abdomen.
He had been feeling cramps in his body as soon as he entered the locker room, but did not pay too much attention to it, thinking he was tired from all the walking he and his friend did all afternoon.
But the pain did not go away. An immense pressure was coming from within, and his whole body was shaken by deep tremor. His vision began to blur and fade, and he felt so weak that he had to sit down on the bench.
Falkie tried to speak, but he could not get a single sound out of his throat. His jaws were sealed shut and pulled away from him as if they were growing and getting longer. He tried to touch them, but his arms were unable to reach his face, and instead were moving sideways, as if they had been pulled out of joint.
The tremors became more intense, and he felt his whole body shifting and contorting itself in uncanny ways. He heard his clothes cracking as he started to drift into unconsciousness.
After some time had passed, he woke up and blinked repeatedly. The pain was gone, and he was no longer shaking. Falkie slowly regained control of his harrowed body, Still, he was puzzled by how alien it felt to him, as so many new sensations overwhelmed him.
He could see again, but his field of vision was completely distorted, as if his eyes had been pushed to the sides. He flailed his arms, but their range of movement was now more limited than before. The most striking feeling came from his skin, which had become smooth and rubbery, and exquisitely sensitive. He could feel the pressure of the cold ceramic tiles, and every breeze of air coming from the ventilation booths sent a chill down his spine.
With some effort, he managed to roll over on his side to get into a more comfortable position. Finally able to look at his friend, he gasped at what he saw: a dolphin was wiggling on the tiled floor, amid a pile of torn clothes. His friend's clothes!
The animal looked like a common dolphin, shiny and sleek, but his anatomy made no sense: a pair of small leg-like appendages were flailing around the tail, and they seemed to shrink and slowly merge with the trunk-shaped body with each movement.
The dolphin had a strange, familiar look on his face, and his expression looked way too human. Falkie could swear that the animal was looking amused. A strange grin was painted on his lips, and he had a pair of big smiling eyes contemplating the ongoing transformation. The head of the dolphin looked even more surreal, with remnants of a human face and clumps of dark hair were slowly disappearing behind his head. Then he realised that his friend was nowhere to be seen. No! It couldn't be...
He moved frantically, and froze as he caught a glimpse of himself in a mirror. He too had become a dolphin! His whole body had taken a streamlined shape, and his arms had turned into flippers, while his legs had given way to a large but elegant tail that emerged from below his hips. His tattered clothes revealed a shiny grey skin dotted with black markings, and he recognized the racy silhouette of a black dolphin.
He tried to scream for help, but the only thing that came out of his mouth was a loud high-pitched sound, completely alien and unlike his human voice.
Upon hearing the sound, the grey dolphin turned his head towards Falkie and crawled to get close to him. Then, he gently nudged his friend's cheek with his snout and let out a soft thrill. Falkie understood its meaning immediately: "Don't worry, it's going to be alright!"
He returned the nudge and both of them stayed together on the ground, looking at each other and excitedly waiting for what would come next.
Now the show was about to begin!
To be continued...
