Named for its twilight-dyed coloration and the few golden feathers found around its neck, this illusive owl is rumored to only appear when the sun disappears below the horizon. Even during sunset however, it is incredibly hard to catch sight of these birds - for their beautiful coat of feathers blends perfectly into the washes of violet and orange hues covering the sky.

A lot of inspiration for this design came from Malfestio, a creature found in the Monster Hunter series. (More specifically, it was introduced in Mh Gen and can also be found in MH Gen Ultimate.)

This is also the first time I painted a rock digitally, I really like how it came out ~
