Rock on the River page 3
Found another old RowrBrazzle submission from the days of dinosaurs. That issue also had a theme of music.
And anybody who lived in Arizona and listened to FM radio, knew of 98KUPD's Dave Pratt and the Sex machine band. 'Rock on the River' was his best know song, about tubing the Salt River in central Arizona. 'Pizza and Beer' another favorite.
I used the characters from my old MuddFlatt strip.
I found a set of copies that were overlooked, the originals were burned long ago.

i know and folks leave trash all over the place. Tubing was an off and on thing there last year with all the Covid 19 Restrictions. Some areas of Sedona were closed, so everyone and their dog went to other areas and clustered like crazy. Bull Pens - just out of Camp Verde usually never had more than 3 vehicles in the parking area, was jam packed on the weekends - everyone went up stream. Roomie and I almost turned around and left when I remembered a section that had been closed for camping over a decade ago. We parked by the locked gate, walked around it and had a good section of West Clear Creek to ourselves. The upper part of the creek is wilderness and becomes an amphibious hike - you have to rig a float for your pack and swim thru the canyon in a lot of spots. I did a short section of that a few years ago. Kicked my ass big time
