Mirror-Foxes
- Genetically engineered organisms, though their exact origin remains unknown. First mirror-foxes were found about 400 years ago within the subtropic rainforests of Akarion, without any episodic memory.
- Origin of their species' name is unknown, though might be related to their features.
- The markings on their chest usually reflect their emotional state of the past days or weeks. Root-like markings indicate calmness, lightning-like patterns indicate stressful situations. Rarely, when perfect equilibrium is has been achieved, mirror-fox may gain a completely white chest similar to red foxes.
- Adoption/Learning of new skills is sometimes accelerated by several order of magnitudes when exposed to stressful situations. Might be a reason for the name of this species.
- Double-ended perceptrons. Like their other features, this probably was engineered on purpose, though it remains unknown. It does simplify installation of certain types of Cyberware though.
- All Mirrorfoxes seem to like rain in general, sound, smell, and even the sensation of raindrops on their pelt. It is unknown if this preference was engineered on purpose, or a byproduct of something else.
- Their preference for rain made them the favoured species of the Rain-Goddess, one of the last deities to still exist in the modern age. As such, all Mirror-Foxes may gain a boon from her quiet easily.
