Haha Im afraid Metro trilogy steals that spot for me. I adore metro. But at the same time I cannot compare the 2 games. For me they come hand in hand, each giving something unique of its own to the theme of post apocalyptic soviet era haha. Still I replayed the metro trilogy more than I care to admit xD.
I'm a little overhyped for stalker2 haha. And I bet it will bite me in the ass. Can't exactly be optimistic about anything that comes out in the current time. But no matter how bad / good the game will be i'll still be playin it haha. Hopefully they will continue mod support so that the community can later have fun with it as well.
Hey now, dont you dare say bad things about metro :P. I love that game. And its never meant to be like stalker. That was not their intention. Stalker is a sandbox -exploration driven game. While metro is basically a novel / story driven game. They did go into more open world in Exodus, but the basis remains the story., They were never meant to be anything alike. And that is why I like both games equally. They are both unique in their own right. And cannot really be compared to each other. It's a bit of a fool's errant to compare 2 games that have different purposes :P.
