Those things are tied with the Kleine Kettenkrad as obscure bits of WWII junk I totally love.

Man you should have a go at Company of Heroes! Opposing Fronts has the Kettenkrad as the basic German territory capturing unit!

Also, this is such a neat one, so dynamic. I love the one dude's bullethole helmet.

And both Reaper and West Wind Productions make figure lines with alternate WWII - there are a few more out there, too. Lots of people have done WWII with zombies (it's one of those things that just works), so part of what went into this one was trying to do something atypical with the idea - and my answer to that was an obscure soft-shell vehicle and having the necromancer who raised them direct 'em into battle (even if he just reads as a living officer).

There was one of these in the anime Pumpkin Scissors, which is about a world where Post-WWI Germany had a specialist team of misfits responsible for repairing the injustices brought about by war.
Also, a guy who fights tanks on foot, with a pistol.

Fela Kuti is oddly suitable music for the WWII zombies.

I so totally love that song, and Kuti's other stuff; I've gotten really into various west African musicians lately.

I pretty recently discovered Kuti and my friend and I were jamming to Zombie quite a bit in the car. I had a falling out period with jazz for a while but I'm starting to get into African jazz.

Habib Koite and Bamada are pretty much my favorites these days!
