"When I was a kid, my father and I used to try and imitate the shapes of the animals we saw out of the window. It's been years since we have played like that, but I still do it from time to time. Its fun"
Some personal work I did a while ago. Vishaal practicing his magic while he reminisces of, perhaps, happier times.

Hehe, its one of my favorite architectural pieces; Temple of Quetzalcoatl :p
I do like the Xochicalco Temple of Quetzalcoatl more though interms of ornate-munerals; but the "dragon-heads" as people call them are just such a classic-athestic from teotihuacan.
Heck, i have one inspired from it in this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27784875/
Overall though, my favorite architecture-style from the meso-americas is probatly Puuc-Style in the end.

Ah, I see you are a man of culture as well! (?
This one right here isn't an exact replica of an actual Quetzalcoatl worshipping ornament. Wouldn't make much sense in my lore (My worldbuilding is heavily based on the aztecs, but being different regions and climates, It simply isn't posible to translate all of the aztec culture into my story). But its rather a shrine that sits in the garden which precedes the main library of the temple where this character lives. Which is the main temple of the region, or Templo Mayor, if you want to be ""acurate"".
Im actually very glad that I could stylize the serpent head, but still conservate enough of its essence to make a callback to the original design! and of course, I'm very glad to meet another fan of Mesoamerican cultures in general <3
I had a look at your gallery and I'm AMAAAAZED! you have great taste and one can tell, just by looking at it, that you know your stuff very well <3

Oh no, it isnt! These aren't actually aztecs...
How do I explain it...
The setting on this story is in another planet, basically the perfect excuse to put AAAAALL of the things I love to draw together. Since I intend to make a webcomic out of this, and sure as heck I want to love every second of me doing it.
The culture of this guy is not aztec per-se, but heavily based on it. But there are things that are as faithful as possible to the ""original"" Mexica/Aztec mythos, such as the gods, certain rituals, certain parts of the "magic system" (Ex. Its a blood based one).
Among other things I love that I put into this story, just alongside Mesoamerican Cultures, Lovecraftian gods and fantasy, is dinosaurs...
This bird in particular is more of a stem bird. You can see it, because I had to compress the picture, but it actually has little teeth coming out from its beak
Here are some pics of stem birds for reference!

Myeah, i do a sorta worldbuilding thing too: that i commishion stuff for; tis sorta meso-america inspired but overall it's like a primordial megafaunic jungle-world fantasy setting of sorts; i do alot of research and seek inspriation from things alot (especialy architecture and stylizations), even if i do my own thing most of the time. c:
Your picture almost has the south asian-athestic; i feel.. with the charms hanging from ropes and all that; but there are many similarities between the stylized aztec-diety statues, and the asian balinese-demons in style. :p
