“I couldn’t tell you the moment I transformed... it’s all I’ve ever known.”

Sunngifu’s origin is as mysterious as it is unusual. If you ask, all Sunny can remember is the time she spent with the clan of dragons who raised her- after her transformation into a half dragon. She’s been friends with her little dragon companion, Rori, since before Sunny lost her memories. Her younger brother, Wyot, is beset with the same amnesia as Sunny, though he was spared the dramatic transformation that Sunny went through.

Sunny’s story truly begins after she decided she had enough of being cooped up in a dark cave system. While her draconic clan taught her as much as they could about the surface world, they forbade her and her brother from leaving the safety of the caves. Naturally, as any child would, Sunny grew restless. She convinced her brother at a young age to sneak out of the caves, to which he eventually agreed to after some convincing.

While their little outings initially started as exploring the wilderness and observing from a distance, they were eventually discovered by another human for the first time. A man was lost in the woods and in pain when Sunny and Wyot discovered him. After a tense standoff between the three, the stranger clearly frightened by them, Sunny and Wyot eventually managed to save the stranger’s life. More instances like this happened as the two became more confident about their little excursions.

This inevitably drew the eyes of some unsavory types, who began to follow the trail of bread crumbs they left in their wake. Without warning, disaster struck.

An unknown enemy descended on Sunny’s clan, killing a large number of them while a few managed to escape. Where they are now is a mystery, but the only two survivors she really knows of is Rori and Wyot’s larger companion, Corsal. What followed was a desperate search to find the missing members of the clan, Sunny taking up arms with an old suit of armor and a sword that she was taught to wield, Wyot doing the same as he took the mantle of the last known dragon rider.

While doing their best to remain incognito, Sunny and Wyot began to make a name for themselves before their investigation turned up with diverging paths. Wyot decided to stay in the UK to follow a lead to find their missing clan, while Sunny moved overseas to track down the people who started the whole mess. From there, Sunny was discovered by the Titans, and she hopes to use their help and the technology at their disposal to track down her mysterious quarry.

Between grappling with uncovering the truth behind her past and seeking revenge for the loss of her only family, Sunny is determined to be a blazing light that cuts through the darkness.
