Here is the finished version of a drawing I did for AnthroCon's 2010 conbook with the theme "Modern Stone Age".
I wanted something a bit more serious along with the comical images I did, but I wasn't sure what to do, so I came up with something a little different: steampunk. It is modern to a degree, and heck, I thought it was a cool idea, so here is a triceratops engineer looking at his small pocket watch.
This image intimidated me a touch, I never really did a anthropomorphic dinosaur before, and this one took several tries to get right, but in the end I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
Who knows, I may keep this guy as an actual character.
I finished this in mid-June and had this as well as the original sketch up in the art show, but it didn't sell, so I still have them, and they still may be available for anyone interested.
Photoshop 7.
Character and artwork are mine.

I can't believe I never saw this before. It's awesome that you created a Steampunk Triceratops like this, as that is exactly what I am! And I think you did a really nice job here too. The background of gears makes the theme very clear and adds a nice touch. His costume is pretty cool, and I think his feet are a good size to support his weight.
