I read Dawn - 1 first, and I thought "oh, they're going somewhere with this". Don't remember seeing you do any sci-fi stuff before, so that was an interesting change of pace. Certainly got me interested to see how you were going to play with those themes.
Then I read this one, and the line of thought changed to "oh, fuck, they're going somewhere with this". Doesn't matter the time, place, or setting, you're always good at writing people that really feel like people. Now I'm invested in where this series (these series?) is going to go, in the same way Tail hooked me right from the outset. Definitely going to be keeping close tabs on this, excellent work thus far.
