Well here is my second picture of the Flame of the Emperor. here is our dear Primarch Vulken staring into the cold souless eyes of a Carnifex. i got this one at FC if i remember right and asked for another one of Vulken being bad ass but Lizardbeth thought it would be funny for Vulken to be making alittle joke and all while staring down this massive beast.
in the end i liked it no matter what as i already had one of Vulken looking really bad ass so this still works for me and i enjoy showing it off as much as the original 40K pic of Vulken. as i once more relise while looking at this... very few artists i have come across have a good sense of feel of 40k ... and liz is one of em.

heheheh normally i would think Vulken would run forward and kicks its ass bare handed. considering vulken strangled the biggest fire drake out there on Vulken's homeworld. i think a Carnifex would be tiny compared to it. but liz wanted a bit of a silly and i still love it.
i still don't think the primachs would even care :P i mean the Kraken on Fenris is suppose to be a left over tyranid creature of monsterous proportations and Russ supposely pull it out of the ocean and cut off some of its massive tenticals and then said it was too small a catch and threw it back to let it 'grow up' the tenticals are in stasis inside of The Fang.
a primarch dwarfs a space marine much in the way a space marine does so to a normal man. and they are extremely powerful. to give an example Primarch fulgrim of the emperor's children before being turned to chaos strangled an Eldar Avatar with his bare hands. thats just a start.
they are pretty powerful people. and yes in the space wolves codex it talks about Leman Russ' fight with the kraken which is actually mentioned in the Tyranid book as well.

i would join you in rl and share that cookie if you made one *purrrrrs and smiles* as long as i get one to look like a space marine chapter of my choice *giggles and nods* oh and the "Vulken' in his picture is suppose to be he Primarch not He'stan. so i think the scale of them is alittle off but not by much.
*watches as 10 of the best Firedrakes in gleaming emerald armour with blazing gold trim heed your battle cry and charge thunder hammers bristling with pent up energy.*

Anyway thank you so much glad you like it ^.^ I have another of this "Vulken" in my scraps, this one was a custom design Liz did before the official look came out and if I remember his armour design is based a little off the Vulken He'stan model.
