FR: C’est seulement en aout 1891 lors des 600 ans du pacte de 1291 que cette date du premier aout a été choisie comme fête nationale suisse. Car ce pacte fédéral daté d’aout 1291 (la date exact n’est pas connue) est considéré comme l’acte fondateur de la Suisse plutôt que la légende du serment du Grütli qui y est souvent associé.

Ce pacte a été signé par les représentants des trois cantons pères-fondateurs de la Suisse Uri, Schwyz et Unterwald, séparé par la suite en deux cantons (Nidwald et Obwald)

Aujourd’hui la Suisse compte 26 cantons que j’ai peints sur cette carte aux couleurs de leurs drapeaux.

Je tiens à préciser que j’ai dessiné cette carte à la main, je n’ai en aucun cas décalqué ou utilisé de chablon.

1501 : Schaffhouse, Bâle (en 1833 le canton de Bâle est séparé en deux cantons Bâle-Ville et Bâle-Campagne)

1513 : Appenzell (scindé en deux cantons en 1597 pour des raisons religieuses, Appenzell Rhodes-Intérieures et Appenzell Rhodes-Extérieures.)

1803 : Saint-Gall, Argovie, Tessin, Vaud, Grison, Thurgovie.

1815 : Valais, Neuchâtel et Genève.

1979 : Jura (Région francophone dont le territoire appartenait avant cette date au canton de Berne (Germanophone) ce qui causa pas mal de tensions, finissant par aboutir à l’indépendance de ce Canton.





DE: Erst im August 1891, während der 600 Jahre des Paktes von 1291, wurde dieses Datum des ersten August zum schweizerischen Nationalfeiertag gewählt. Für diesen Bundespakt vom August 1291 (das genaue Datum ist nicht bekannt) gilt eher der Gründungsakt der Schweiz als die oft damit verbundene Legende vom Grütli-Eid.

Dieser Pakt wurde von den Vertretern der drei vatergründenden Kantone der Schweiz Uri, Schwyz und Unterwalden unterzeichnet, aufgeteilt in zwei Kantone (Nidwald und Obwald).
