It was more of a challenge to get my head out of "gory zombie land" and focus on something more elegant/surreal, than the concept itself. Haha. Much thanks to manojalpa for having some of the best project/prompts! ♥ Being able to design mythical creatures from only a colour gradient & list of animals- was fantastic! Actually (this) was my first attempt.
The other 3 will be using the same texture overlay etc, to make them seem like a proper set. (:

Yayyyyy! Muses of Cosmos! I can't wait to have more of these guys running around. I think twill be just awesome. :D
And more yay, this coloration seems to match much more closely to ze original! Sorry I wasn't there last night; I planted my face in my pilllow and didn't move for eight hours. <_< Durr.
Oh! And 'member! You can do animals that aren't on the list if they are cool and white based. I've been getting ideas for more abstract things in my head, recently - like what would a seed or an embryo look like. What if they were flora instead of fauna, etc. I have a feeling this project could run for a rather long time <_<
