First in a series of paintings ive been working on of acrylic painted dragons, I started working on these during my last few days working in the food service industry as vent art. I was really stressing out and the environment at my job was not a good one (actually not due to customers for the most part, though having to uphold the mask mandate in a fairly conservatives part of town was extremely stressful and considering one of the other stores was held up at gunpoint by a person who did not want to wear a mask I was constantly worrying that it might happen at the store i worked at as well. )
the main thing was I was working as one of two supervisors and while i had expected to get 20-25hrs a week I ended up averaging 38-40 and often ended up going into overtime, which was stressful because i had planned to make fursuits more then work in food service so i had taken on a few commissions and needed to get them done.

In the end, I quit and started doing art and fursuit making full time as of the last week of Dec and I've been significantly less stressed since, I make about the same as what I made while working food service, I work way more hours then i did previously but its much calmer work and I enjoy it so thats fine with me :)
