Time to release this one. I spend enough time on this. Also based on an old WIP from years ago. Both characters aren't in their full gear. I still have no names for them or deep lore.
Must be awesome to work with this giant lady dragon and being close to her. Enjoy the battle buddies, dragoness waifu hunter world ... something 😁
My thought for the two was something like that they're living in a post-war world or kinda wild west scenario where everyone does his own business. Loose government structures, dangers like renegades, wild animals, feral dragons, and stuff and communities can hire hunters and mercenaries to help them. When some out-of-control giant dragon eats the townspeople, burns down your house, and shit on your car, you can hire the two to bring down the threat.

Yes, he's the tactics guy and can't get this close to the giant dragons. He uses a very powerful rifle, but that's more for self defense. In most cases, his female companion cannot deal with them too when they way bigger than her, but she operates the big guns, big knifes and lifts the heavy weights.
