The typical scenario for any hero story. Best compared with the darkest of Superhero stories.
Jack the Mobster killing Bruce Wayne's parents and thus creating his Nemesis Batman.
While (going with the 1st movie) Batman not preventing Jack from falling in the chemicals and letting him die there created his Nemesis Joker.

His life as Teo has ended, and so has thinking his parents left him.
The gods killing him, has led him to being reunited with his true name and is now a Medjay like his father before him. Seth is plotting something and getting stronger, hopefully Acarius will be able to stop him from obtaining his goal.
