Oh wow ~ I love that background!! I am really impressed by the closest bits of the grass, did you do it all by hand with no special brushes? Or is it a combination of both? It looks very effective. I also like the work gone in to the fur by the other person you collaborated with. It's nice to collab like this, because I think sometimes if you do all that work yourself you lose some focus soemtimes, since it takes so long. Having "help" is very beneficial to the image I think! :D

It's a bit of both. I use custom brushes that I've made myself to create the basic vertical line texture - but by all means it's not just a 'slap it down' brush. XD There's a lot of painting work involved in it, but it's certainly a lot of fun to do! :D
