"Ironically, this is probably the most practical Bowblade ever made, and it took me a week to assemble this Trick Weapon."
-Victor, upon showing off the Blade to Urara.
"...You're a Handsome Bow... Blade... Hm, I think I should call you 'Arthur'."
-Guinevere, after Acquiring her custom Fenrir BowBlade.
Crafted for the Warrior/Hunter that Despises Firearms, or Desire a Stealthier approach, the Fenrir Bowblade is an uncommon weapon, utilizing a Torsion style pulley system to launch an arrow further and faster than most Shortbows and even some Longbows.
Heavy, yet Sturdy, this model of Bowblade was made to be surprisingly simple to transform. To transform it from Sword mode to Bow form, the Wielder must first turn the sword so it would be aimed at the ground, then grasp the pommel and twist it 45° Clockwise, then push it down into the Guard to transform the Weapon, before turning the Pommel 180° counter-clockwise. This will lock the blade arms open and prevent it from snapping down onto the user's arm.
A notable feature about the Bowblade is that it is still just as efficient as a Melee weapon as it is a Ranged weapon in Bow Form, since the Blade edge is facing outwards and allows for the Wielder to swing it around like a Twin-Blade.
The First Model of the Fenrir Bowblade was first wielded by Urara, Heiress to the Belzewolf Clan, who took it on many a Skirmish, where she earned the title of "Whispering Death" for her devastatingly high body count and how the only warning one had, was the Glint of Silver and the Hiss of her Arrow coming for one's vitals.

Thanks. I actually started drawing this because of how much Simon's Bowblade from Bloodborne had no reasonable way of Transforming (There was no way for the Handle to convert into a Bow Arm, not with how Ornate it looks), and because the Closest Practical Transforming bow-blade, the "Sword bow" weapon class from Final Fantasy XIII-2 was more likely to hurt the Wielder, what with how the Bow mode had the Sword Bow's Edges pointing back at the User.
An Enemy with a Shield just has to give the Sword Bow user a Hard Smack and they'll maim the Sword-Bow Wielder with their own weapon.
That was why I decided to make this. It makes me feel relief at not having to worry about a Smartarse shieldbearer smacking my own weapon into my face, while also being simple enough to work so that I don't have to Tear my hair out in trying to figure out "How does this part become Bow Handle!?".
So thanks. I appreciate your comment for the Fenrir Bowblade... And I like your designs as well. (I popped by your profile, nice work.)
