The Mucktail clan. Thought quite possibly regarded as the 'underdogs' of the gnoll species as a whole, and despite their thieving and treacherous behavior and demeanor, they're a very numerous, very populous clan that ranges far and wide across Norrath. East Karana, Highpass, Blightfire Moors and even on the doorstep of Crescent Reach, the Mucktail clan owns and claims a large deal of territory on the continent of Antonica. But much like their Blackburrow cousins, the Mucktail clan is also at war with the humans. Though more numerous than the Blackburrow clan, the Mucktail clan doesn't boast nearly as much impressive or powerful warriors, yet still, this is hardly a disadvantage. The Mucktail gnolls are superb in the arts of subterfuge, misguidance, and overall trickery and deceit. Bera Slypaw excels at all of this, and it's of little mystery as to why she's called 'Slypaw', after all. Many times has she raided the city of Crescent Reach, laughing with glee when each time she flees the city with a bag of gold or a valuable heirloom in hand! She's made a target of the Crescent Reach head ambassador, Peidgar Firecaller, and has even stolen a powerful arcane staff from the Drakkin mage. Needless to say, Peidgar wants it back, and Bera is in possession of a powerful weapon she has no idea how to use. But, why bother when you can sell it to the highest bidder?
