Drawing large heads has always been a curse I deal with myself. Lately, I've been trying to keep the heads relatively small, but it's a fine line between just bright and "lol puny heads".

Though, most of the time, when I think a head is big it's usually just because of hair.

Well big heads can be okay to a point. I mean in character illustration, that is only semi realistic, exagerations are used to bring attention to certain points or to get across some kind of point (ie intelligant design).
Also Taylor seems to be looking a bit more boyish. I mean still girly as the day is bright, but like distinctly a boy. I like it!

I think a lot of people tend to have that problem (with drawing heads too big).
It's a pain in the fucking ass when you finish lineart then notice, oh shit, the head is 50% too big.
