Yeah Oli has some pretty bad expectations of the drekir no doubt.
Vehicle husks like that, after most of the useful metal has been scavenged from them, are often used as makeshift shelters sometimes, sometimes even as storage for various things, among other things. In this case they're being used as sunbasking spots, as the exposed metal holds onto heat very well which makes it particularly wonderful for sunbasking. It's pretty common to see old cars, slabs of sidewalk, and other large heat conductive things repurposed for sunbasking.
And yeah still plenty of concrete that (in this canon) have survived the past 100 years of neglect and magical catastrophe, not entirely intact but they are still standing.

Yeah that one is more likely being used as a shelter to sleep at for the night, as cars aren't just used for one purpose, it depends on the car and where it is at (drekir aren't moving those things anytime soon). One might be for sunbasking and the other might be as place to relax in the shade depending on what that drek wants and what the village has set up.
Yeah I swapped over to a font later on. Sorry the early comics were partially me learning how to draw and write comics. The font should come in about halfway through the 2nd chapter. The dialects were also a lot stronger in these earlier chapters, something I eventually learned to dumb down to make it more readable
