Stranded and alone on a desolate world with no one to help them, 988 has to do whatever they can to survive. The creatures on the world were ferocious he had died a couple of times just walking around and being ambushed. He had to be careful, he doesn't know how many pods exist on this world, how many times he can come back. He had a limited amount of come backs before he woke up somewhere else, somewhere new. Maybe more hostile, maybe less, he couldn't take that risk, not without knowing if he was on has last one or not. He needed to find civilization, even if ruined it might tell him something, anything, about what is wrong with him. He needed answers, but right now he had to hide as another creature prowled about looking for something new to eat.
