Yeah the darkside is always better. I've always found the black versions to be better than the originals despite the fewer colors.

BlackWeregarurumon (known as Shadow Weregarurumon in the English) first appeared on screen in the eighteenth episode of Digimon Frontier "Choo-Choo! The Great Trailmon Race" (AKA Trailmon vs Trailmon in the English). There, he and Dogmon (AKA Doggymon in the English) try to take over a race involving Trailmon. Together, they try sabotaging the other racers in crazy fashion only to be outwitted by Takuya who leaves them literally burned out.

This episode is a parody of the 1968 Hanna-Barbera cartoon Wacky Races.
