Well, the first story I've uploaded for the Café Plaisir universe. (Mostly because the true first chapter isn't finished. Instead I'll pretend that I let Yoda decide the order of stories).

Anyhow, this came about form a long time ago, long before I knew how the shields of Star Trek truly worked. Given the situation, I have to wonder if anyone else thought about simply shielding 3/4 of the ship so the open 1/4 could use a tractor beam... Although my luck the people programming the simulation would simply add a fourth ship and make the rescue attempt much shorter.
