Tomorrow (July 1) is Tacki's birthday, but the lil' dragon seemed reluctant to divulge that information out of fear of birthday pictures. I'm not sure whether he was serious or not, but I hope he doesn't mind me sticking him in here (this picture is half Tacki's Birthday, half Canada Day, so hopefully it'll be OK...).
I'm not sure if it requires explanation, but with the two things falling on the same day, Kaffre and Tacki are a bit confused about exactly what sort of party this is supposed to be...
The facial expressions don't really fit the speech/thoughts of the cubs, and I think I made the background too busy, but hopefully my fans (such as they are) will enjoy this picture anyway.

Hmmm I'm not sure if I gets any special-stuff for being born on Turkey's Republic Day... I'll have to remember to ask Mommy when it gets just a little bit closer...
I was going to include other babyfur birthday flags, but among my close friends only MJ shares a birthday with a country and Kenya's flag is really, really hard to draw!

I keep a big list of babyfur birthdays, but being a really lazy artist, I rarely get to draw anything unless I has a really cute idea. I'm not quite sure where I learned the date of your hatchy-day, but I think it was on a meme you did one time...

Yay! This is quite a way to turn one great day of fun celebration into a totally, super day filled with so many good times you never want it to end.
Not only is it fun to see the fun going on here, but being enlightened to when Canada day falls on is great, too. I shall have to try and remember that.
I think you did a great job drawing Tacki, too. His face looks very cute and the scenary really captures the summer-spirit of barbecuing outdoors. Well done, Kaffre.

Actually, July 1st is a national holiday in several nations, but I didn't really know that when I started the picture.
I think Tacki turned out really well too. Normally when I draw him it doesn't look very good. I'm glad you likes the scenary, I've been to a lot of those type parties this year (mostly family birthdays) so I'm pleased to hear that I was able to capture the ambience...

Yes. The picture is mostly a Tacki's birthday pic, but as it falls on the same date as Canada Day, I thought it might be funny if Kaffre confused the two celebrations.
By contrast, the Turkish flag is a reference to my own birthday (Oct 29) falling upon Turkey's Republic Day...
