I know you make it a little more than a little obvious here. Seriously. You're practically floating in the picture. (I know it's jumping and clinging. But still. :P)
First of all, I'll give you credit here for trying a.. very confused looking robot. Even without a facial expression, he still happens to look like he's embarrassed and confused as to why he's being clung on to. (I think if I had to caption it, it would be with "She's going to let go of me eventually....right?")
That aside for the moment, what's cool here is how well you can draw robots and the like. (Look, I still have trouble drawing cars. People who can draw robots amaze me as I know full well I won't be able to do it.) That and you still have the coloration of metal to make it seem like he's a metallic creature rather than just plain gray as a lot of people would do. He even has glowing eyes like a Gundam! (Don't ask why that appeals to me. Long story.)
Moving from the robot here, I see why it seems like you float. Wings on shoes. OK. That makes sense now. (...Why yes. Someone DOES notice.) Now that I notice, you do the same thing I do which...is draw yourself hardly. [Then again, I draw myself not at all for that matter..] It's only now do I realize you have.. a rather bright outfit. I know it's the pink and gold but I suppose it's only noticeable when compared to a greyscale robot that you get to fangirl cling to. x) [*I expect to be killed for that line...but worth it.]
Seriously. You have fun coloring your own outfit more than anything it seems as even the bells in your hair happen to have their own light source as if they were polished and meant to reflect light. And the flower on the front of your shirt looks amazingly realistic. (Almost too much so and that's showing some talent.)
It's just a vibrant happy picture and that's what makes me enjoy it as much as I do here.
.....and of course a lioness clinging to a robot she adores so much may be cute...

Ironically, my feet doesn't move on it's own.
Yes, some robots can't do expressions although, a sweatdropped sometimes tend to mean sweating in a confused manner or desperate counterfeit.
I am growing fond of robots(well not megaman cause no offence it's overrated) and I happened to stumble appleseed. And sure enough I love robots and I have to use a lot of reference to get everything to look right.
Even though I considered myself not really a main character as my Linvar. I see improvements on my fursona and yes I love the color of pink and gold*although only on clothing* I just don't like showing too much jewelry. Tigerlily ended up being stucked to me as my favorite flower since I was child
