Top- The "Fennec" V24 MKI
A light tank, often used for Infantry support in urban or mountainous regions. Armed with a 52mm auto cannon (can fire one 5 round burst before reloading), it is good for providing close support, but virtually useless against heavily armored targets. Above it's main gun is a Monterrey Anti Tank Unit. The logic behind providing the V24 with a single weapon capable of causing minor damage to heavy armor, is that the weapon can be used to delay the opposition giving the crew enough time to retreat.
Bottom- The "Reinne" 42GP MKIV
A mess of different vehicles built from surplus half track Chassi's from the Monarchy. Although the old chassi platforms were outdated, the tracks and wheels were kept, replacing the engine with a more modern variant. Nicknamed The queen, mocking the queens of the past regimes, it is slow and heavy. The Reinne has the potential to pack a serious punch. Although the Reinne would not stand a chance against Legacy tanks at short range, the 154mm "automated" cannon along with the 98mm Mortar on a rotating platform is more than enough to slow down a Legacy advance from a concealed area.
The 154mm "automated" cannon is technically not automatic. When a round is fired, the breech is automatically opened by the gas from the charge ejecting the spent shell. Above the breech is a "hopper" which a maximum of three rounds can one at a time fall into the breech once each round is ejected. The breech must be manually closed before it is ready to fire again. Although not "automatic" the hopper system makes firing many rounds in a short time possible.

Throw a wire guided heavy anti-tank missile on your Fennec and it'll have a considerable anti tank capability. Not only that, but using systems like that, especially as they're generally used across a variety of weapons platforms, is much cheaper than having a purpose built but largely ineffective cannon.
