The reason I love this one so much is how well-observed this is. He didn't just draw a generic figure in the pose or an imagined cartoon version; he was able to incorporate realistic physicality to it by looking at the live person in front of him. As is his stated artistic goal, he found a really nice fusion of fantastical and realistic here.
Plus, the observation that I stick out my tongue while concentrating was a good touch.
