Song of the Day: Keep Clean, Keep Sane (Xaqtly Remix)

I did not write this song, a friend of mine did. He calls himself Velvet Mishka, and this started as a song off his album. It was very simple; only one vocal track and one acoustic guitar.

I brought the track into my sequencing program and added bass, drums, strings, piano, percussion and fleshed it out. I added some reverb and did a little remastering. I gave this remix of his song to him as a wedding present. We've been friends for many, many years and we used to play music together. He loved it, and so did his fiance.
