full name: Scudderqwarken (Scud for short)
gender: Male
nationality: Kroot (Alien)
sexuality: straight
height: 7 feet, 11 inches
weight: 314.23IBS

birthplace: Unknown
age: unknown (even he doesn't remember)
occupation: monster hunter, former carribean warlord, former freedom fighter, former Railroad member
appearence: A tall male Kroot with light green skin and a powerful build. Although his bones are hollow, they're tougher than carbon fibre and his ripcord muscles enable him to rip a human in half and yank open sealed
bunkers. He has powerful digitigrade legs ending in three-toed feet and sharp claws. He has equally sharp talons on his three-fingered hands and his mouth is a jagged beak with an underbite. Scud can bite with
several thousand PSI and the edges of his beak rub against each other, keeping them wickedly sharp. He has a dense mane of feathers growing from the back of his head, which often stick up when he's angry or excited.
bio: Scud was born thousands of years in the future. Due to a mistake by their ship's pilot, Scud and his clan were plummeted into a violent timestorm. As their ship begun to buckle and creak, it eventually rematerialised in realspace in early victorian times and crashed on a small green and blue planet. Pulling himself from the crash, Scud found and gathered the survivours of his clan and after eating those killed in the impact, wandered off to explore his new world.
Having landed on a pacific island, Scud spent much of his time eating starfish, turtles and gulls before realising he shared the island with humans. Mistaken for a demon, Scud was attacked by tribal hunters. He made short work of his attackers, but the fight was witnessed by another clan of humans. Scud and his pack had singlehandedly massacred the clan who had been raiding them for years and so the humans saw him as some kind of divine savior and tried to lure him back to their own territory. It only took a few piles of meat to coax him into following them. They gained his trust and he taught them how to fight like him. Within a year, Scud had made his tribe a deadly force to be reckoned with. With him influencing them, the tribe swiftly annexed and absorbed all their enemies, leaving Scud with piles of corpses to stuff down his gullet. Some of Scud's human worshipers ate his leftovers, hoping to gain the same powers. Their following illness and deaths confused and surprised Scud.
Later, Scud and his human friends came into contact with English colonists and when they started shooting at them he retaliated. He healed the gunshot wounds, shrugged off cannonballs and butchered all who stood against him. Although Scud fought savagely, he was unable to stop them from conquering the Caribbean. With nothing left to do, Scud killed the colonists he found and stole one of their ships. Having eaten the brains of
the ships owners, Scud was able to drive the ship and use some of their muskets to build a large slug gun. Pirates tried to attack him, only realizing he wasn't human when it was too late. Pirates kept his stomach full and
brought him many shiny coins and gems. Word of Scud's ferocity spread through the British empire, legends of a creature prowling the waves that killed everything in his path. Eventually, an ambassador of the British
empire came to him in hopes of enlisting him as a mercenary. One glimpse of Scud's inhuman appearance and bestial eating habits put an end to that idea, and he gained new human friends when he massacred the soldiers and found their slaves in the hold. Scud befriended the humans and shipped them back to (what he assumed) was their homeland, but some stayed with him and helped him save more people.
This continued for years until his ship was destroyed by a Kraken. He killed the kraken and lived on it's carcass for weeks, eating both it and the scavenging sharks until it sank. Although angry at losing his friends and having to abandon his treasure, Scud swam to the closest landmass and arrived on the eastern coast of North America, leading his bloodthirsty kin inland
Almost the instant he made landfall, Scud was attacked by pioneers. He killed them easily, but seeing the feathered headdresses of Native Americans reminded him of his kin so he ended up wanting to hang out with them. Although the tribe feared him, the chief saw in Scud and his pack a way to fend off the invaders. Scud slaughtered all who came to fight him and taught his friends how to make guns. Although he was a different species, the chieftain's daughter became smitten with Scud and despite physiological differences, wanted to have a baby with him. The arrival of a Drukhari clan ended Scud's plans to have a family when they slaughtered his clan, including much of his fellow Kroot. Scud killed the murderous elves but a heavy pain in his heart he didn't understand threw him off his appetite, and he didn't want to eat the dead humans.
Years later, Scud was approached by a young man, who was a descendant of the tribe he lived with. He recruited the crazy Kroot into the railroad. Scud served with honor and distinction, enjoying getting to help others as much as he enjoyed slaughtering slave owners and ransacking their property. It's even rumored that a President of the United States personally spoke with the violence-loving alien, and that Scud avenged his murder with the savagery only he could manage. Scud vanished for years after that, but sightings of him cropped up frequently in Europe during WWII. What he was up to is unknown, but wherever he was seen, death and destruction was brought down upon axis soldiers and concentration camps destroyed overnight, their inmates gone and owners slaughtered
After the war, Scud spent the following years back in North America after stowing away on a plane. He was in Roswell at one point and caused all manner of chaos while trying to steal UFO parts. He managed to escape and just drifted around America, rubbing out inequality and crime wherever he found it, dispensing his own brand of justice in typical violent fashion. When not battling the evil of humanity, Scud spends his time seeking the most feared and horrifying monsters to slay. Despite his long and violent past, Scud has no long-term enemies...he kills them all.
Recently, happenings in Serenity city have begun to attract his attention.
Personality: As a Kroot, Scud is heavily motivated by food and will eat almost anything that moves, sometimes not being even that picky. Scud's reptilian brain understands three base emotions; Anger, pleasure and hunger. Short-tempered and quick to anger, Scud reacts to any and all threats with savagery and is quick to reach for his blade if placed in an unfamiliar situation. When angered, Scud lashes out in a violent rage, shredding and devouring anything that enraged him. When confronted by monsters or larger enemies, Scud doesn't get frightened. He registers such creatures as dangerous adversaries and acts accordingly, assessing what the easiest way to defeat them, and always eats his foes under the assumption he'll gain their strength. Regardless of enemy, Scud never backs down. Although he's lived among humans for centuries, Scud has always found it near impossible to keep up with the ever-changing human culture. Thus, Scud tends to act on impulse and instinct, but seldom considers the consequences of what he does. Scud lives in the moment
and never plans more than a few days ahead, but is able to improvise quickly to deal with the situation. Although simple-minded and quick-tempered, Scud is utterly dedicated to the protection of the innocent. He fights without fear when defending others and slaughters all who stand against him without mercy or remorse. He works to ensure their safety of those he protects and is gentle and patient with his charges.
Scud, his pack, Serenity city and other related characters are mine.
