Another artwork for my worldbuilding project, Kaleida!
This is an athmook skeleton, a cross-section of a 6-limbed creature that lives on Kaleida. Most members of this taxonomic Order look the same or very similar, with differences in size being the most notable: the smallest are only 3/4 of an inch tall while the largest stand at 40 inches. Some - like this one - have better foreclaws for digging, while others are less well adapted for it.

What is Kaleida?
Kaleida is a worldbuilding project without a storyline or individual characters. Most of my clients come to me with stories and characters and treat worldbuilding as an after-thought, so I'm doing the opposite and focusing solely on my worldbuilding. This species is a result of my research on how to create an alien ecosystem, which I wrote as a blog series. Read it here.
