The finished poster featuring Mace, Whip, and Namah! For those of you with walls in need of color, they’re available for purchase here: http://www.dreamkeeperscomic.com/StorePosters.htm
The overall poster design combines some of my favorite visual elements: Excessive chroma, glowing, gratuitous sparkles, burnt paper, and of course our logo huge and on top. The backdrop is a montage of images from the first two graphic novels, with heaping handfuls of cyan glitter added in for good measure.
It was also a lot of fun drawing this poster because, though we draw the characters again and again in the graphic novels, they’re always busy with some kind of activity. So despite the hordes of Namah, Mace, Whip, Bast, and Lilith drawings in existence, very few of them really qualify as an iconic image designed specifically for showing off. So, at last, here’s their chance. It looks like Mace is mainly just enjoying himself, while Namah is flaunting to the max… I think she knows full well how awesome those ether-tendrils look.
