More thumbnail practice! Focused on clouds this time, for several reasons. First of all, I wanted to practice with folding gradients... second of all, I really do need more practice with clouds. At least until I'm comfortable enough with them that I don't have to think about it so much; they make for solid background material.

They're a great way for me to relax with a tablet in hand, since such landscapes & sceneries are easily abstracted and don't rely so much on very structured forms (unlike, say, faces or bodies). In other words, there isn't any particular way they "have to be," so the brain's error-seeking shuts off. You can just relax and go wild with your imagination! :D
