Even though Venom is able to control crystals easier, he still has his limits. The more he use his power in a short span of time, the more he becomes crystalized. Not only can he still move his crystalized parts, he also loses some sanity and lose control of his power, making him more crystalized. If he wants to go back to his normal self, he's gonna have to resist the urge to use his power.
