Fireshy is often afraid to meet new people. He is shy by nature, and he suffers trauma from people who abused him long ago. When there's a new person in town, he often tries to stay away.

When Fireshy first met Nightlight, Nightlight arrived at his house. Normally, he would never invite someone into his home. But one of his close friends really wanted to introduce him to the new girl in town. When Nightlight entered the house, Fireshy felt a sense of panic. He felt as if he were being cornered.

Fireshy comes from Foalstown, one of the roughest cities in the Starpony Kingdom. Moreover, he grew up with abusive parents. In Friendsville, he found a community where he largely feels accepted. Friendsville is mostly a warm, inviting community. Even so, Fireshy often feels he walks on eggs to please people, out of fear he might get harmed or rejected.

Fireshy's home is where he feels the safest. Surrounded by forest animals for company, he sometimes goes an entire week without missing human interaction. He wants to make friends, and he has a few close friends already. Even so, he remains afraid of people.

Although afraid of people, Fireshy loves some of the most dangerous animals. He has a seemingly magical way of connecting with wild beasts. Back in Foalstown, where he felt isolated and alone, Fireshy looked to animals for company. In doing so, he discovered his special ability to empathize with them.

Nightlight is autistic, and so is Fireshy. After they manage to break the ice, the two start to feel a special attraction to each other.

Visual Description:
