Spade, a Nurnian Capon punch-mage, is an Alteration prodigy and country bumpkin studying under K'uro Leliel. She's his top student due to her alternate perspective leading to some interesting innovations in her school of magic. In addition, Maisha considers her a "big sister", someone who isn't immediately horrified by her hobbies.

No surname, since she took on a new name after leaving the Wooded Coven as all Capon who move to the cities do. Being a good digger and finding quick work as a farmhand before joining the Leliel Research Institute for Magical Research as a gardener, Spade fit in very well. She was taken under K'uro's wing after developing the Unlock Chest technique, adapting a lockpicking spell to remove bones from slabs of meat to an offense scenario.
