003 is a sentient piñata from ███ ████ ██, a private business that produces piñatas with anomalous properties. Specimens from the company are often able to manipulate the physical space in and around themselves, often appearing to change size, shape, and occasionally even color. All specimens possess the ability to consume and break down almost any material in their digestive systems, which appear to be made from gummy candy, but otherwise function similarly to that of an organic creature. Rather than producing a waste product for excretion, the digestive system breaks the materials down until it can reconstruct the atoms into sugar molecules, which it recombines into a candy-shaped structure. These candies are coated in a mucus-like fluid that dries into what appears to turn into plastic, and deposited into an empty pocket on the abdomen. The resulting candy is edible, but may contain traces of other chemicals that were unable to be completely broken down in the system. Due to this final process, it isn't unusual to find candies that are spoiled, foul-tasting, or in some cases, even poisoned.
