it is...and when you have a job you get even better benifits. its not all free mind you...just most of the doctor and hospital stuff.
also alberta has the least taxes. Usually you pay pst and gst (15% tax right now in all i think) here you only pay gst...aka like 5 or 7 % tax (this includes year end taxes)
