In the streets of the city the sirens start to die down as little are left to respond to the threat. The town slowly becoming silent as less people remain. Just when you think the creatures finally gone you can hear the faint cracking sound in the distance. The sound of walls and wood aging and breaking apart at a rapid rate, the room you hid in looking like a time lapse of a condemned building as it rapidly aged. Bricks cracked and holes formed as things turned to dust, a hand touching the corner before the anomaly locked eyes with you.

The pain only last a second, but also felt like an eternity before your body crumbled to dust at its feet.
