So I was pretty Borderlands for a few years. I decided on a whim in 2013 to commission a picture of me as my favorite character, Lilith the Siren. I felt like I was getting away with something when I got this back. Like "oh, ha ha, it's me as a girl but it's okay since I'm just appearing AS THE CHARACTER yeah I'm absolutely a dude still, ha ha ha." I think this was actually the very very first time I had any art done of myself as a girl.

Yeah I spent a long while deliberately avoiding engaging with WHY I felt the way I did about anything involving me as femme.
