This is the newest pic I've done of my character Forte, and is one of the "versions", though this would fit more into a long history, with different role-plays I use Forte in taking him from different periods in his history to use, then following different routes from there.

This would be Forte when he was still a vicious fighter in unsanctioned street fights. The main reason is due to his family who, being very independantly wealthy for many generations, also were bloodsport fighters for many generations as, at first, a pastime. Down the line, it became family tradition, and aside from Forte, only his grandfather tried to break tradition to live peacefully.

Forte got the notion to quit the fights after he finally noticed that the "enjoyment" his father told him was there in the fights, was simply an adrenaline rush, and that he was bothered by the excessive harm the fights sometimes led to. Furious at the fact he'd been manipulated for sake of upholding family honor, he simply quit and left, though this left him with little money or property of his own. It is after this point he moves onto another phase of his life.

Forte was, like many of his previous ancestors, a very tough opponent, especially due to several bloodline traits, that some of his ancestors intentionally tried to "breed" into the bloodline through marriages, in older times when this wasn't necessarily looked down on as a reason for marriage. One such trait is rather rare, being his breath weapon. Instead of any one particular one, he has access to the entire range of classical elements for a breath weapon, and can mix them for effects, though normally they're not at the same power of that used by a breed of dragon who only has one type TO use. Incidentally, this is where the trait for eye streaks came from, but none of his family is certain what the color's significance is, since it varies across the family.

Another trait is specialized bodily systems, mostly developed from the history of fighting. One such trait is a much more potent ability to heal from injury or sickness, which is why he bears only two scars. The scars, however, are from where his wings once were. An opponent in his fighting days used magic to try to ensure victory, and was unconcerned with taking lives. Forte pummeled him into submission, and destroyed his magic artifacts, but still can't heal well enough to return his wings. But it does keep him from getting too sick, or his muscles from ever really wasting away.

An odd quirk in his body is his metabolism, which has become very tuned to someone who uses a lot of energy, in very active and strenuous activities (I.e. very vicious fights). While this keeps his body nice, trim, and buff, it will backfire on him and make him highly susceptible to putting on fat if he doesn't do enough physical effort in his lifestyle.
