Shaun is a skilled martial artist thanks to training from Whitnee Squirrel, and can use his quick wits to outsmart his enemies. He also wields a metal Bo staff in battle, which is collapsible, and has smokescreens and stun rods in its ends for extra surprises for his enemies.

Bio:
Nobody on Team Katswell knew that John and Dudley had a Japanese cousin until they mentioned him during a conversation they had about it at Seagull's Bagels. According to Dudley, Shaun is a super cool ladies' man, and believes he's as good as a hero as Kitty herself. In actuality, Shaun may be good with the ladies, but never considered himself a true hero to rival that of Team Katswell. He actually spent most of his life hanging around some Tokyo's best arcades, playing the latest video games and even offering video challenges to anyone looking for some excitement in their lives. But, as time progressed, Shaun started to get bored, and longed for some REAL excitement.
One day, however, when Shaun was heading home from the arcade, he noticed two white squirrels leaping across the skyscrapers, and out of curiousity, wanted to check it out. After climbing to the top of one of the skyscrapers, he saw that one of the squirrels, Yami, has stolen a duffle bag full of priceless Shinto treasures, and the other squirrel, Whitnee, was fighting with her to get them back. During the fight, Yami had the upper hand over her sister, but before she could slide her sword across her throat, Shaun interfered, and tackled Yami out of the way. He then proceeded to do battle with her, and he eventually defeated her. After Yami fled, Whitnee thanked Shaun for saving her, and asked Shaun if he could join the Japanese Undercover Fighting Force as a reward.
Seeing this opportunity as a chance to finally get the excitement he craved, Shaun agreed, and was put through TUFF's usual training regime in order to fully join. Even though he proved himself enough when defeating Yami, Shaun still received formal combat training in martial arts and espionage from Whitnee herself, who was actually looking for lucky candidates to join her as part of JUFF's answer to TUFF's Team Katswell, Team Shinobi. He was even given a special Bo staff equipped with smokescreens and stun rods by Mackey Que in hopes of surprising the enemy. He passed the regime with flying colors, and before long, Shaun became a JUFF agent and a member of Team Shinobi.
While John didn't see Shaun again for a while, Dudley did meet up with him when he accompanied Whitnee, Mackey, and Baba to Petropolis, California as part of TUFF's Global Exchange Programme, where two TUFF agencies from different countries exchange some of their best agents to each others' countries to learn about their cultures. After meeting up Dudley, he showed Shaun around the city, and showed him that much has changed since his last visit overseas. But, their reunion was cut short when the Team receieved received word that Snaptrap was using a giant robot (that Guar has given him) to terrorize all of Petropolis. During the assault, Shaun helped Dudley out with the Heckhounds, showcasing his Bo staff's neat tricks to defeat them, impressing Dudley greatly. After Snaptrap's defeat, Dudley was grateful for his cousin's help, and he went back to Japan with Whitnee and the others. But, he's always on call to help Kitty and the rest of Team Katswell alongside Team Shinobi any way he can.

Personality & Traits:
As John and Dudley claimed when they told Team Katswell about him, Shaun is a "ladies' man" kind of guy. He has a kind of pressence that makes girls just want to hang out and be very close to him, which made John and Dudley a tad jealous of him at times. But, as a JUFF agent, he's very heroic and always willing to help, but is actually quite intelligent, and can do things that either John nor Dudlet could do, such as reading long books without any pictures in them. He may be a ladies' man, but he's actually quite a thinker.
Despite being nicer and more well-mannered than Dudley, Shaun still likes hanging out with him, and thinks of him as a brother of sorts. Shaun also has the same video game interest that John has, and whenever he visits America, the two of them would often compete against each other in the Petropolis Mall's arcade. Although he just missed Kitty herself during the Exchange Programme, Shaun has taken a liking to Allison Retriever, and even SHE has developed a bit of a crush on him.
As for his fellow Team Shinobi members, Shaun basically sees Whitnee as a teacher of sorts, and she enjoys his charm and drive to help others. But, he's often seen hanging out with Mackey Que and Baba Rusa, as the three of them cause all sorts of harmless mischief throughout JUFF HQ, and their neighborhood. However, Shaun always puts his duties as a JUFF agent first, and is always on call to help out TUFF and Teams Katswell and Shinobi whenever he can.
